Last Friday I met a Spartan. A real, live Spartan! Well, actually, I'm pretty sure he was not a real Spartan, but he was alive, at least.


I'm on the left, btw. Hopefully no one has been confused all this time (somehow) and thinking that I'm really a 6' tall, tanned, somewhat-defined man.

You look so cute! I really wish I could've been at the tea party... everyone looked so pretty. Actually- I wish I could've gone to dragoncon period, since I've never been.

By the way- I was looking for a pair of white/ivory lacey tights earlier... I hope you don't mind me asking where you got yours? They are way cute- especially with those boots.

These ones I actually picked up at Target a couple of months ago on clearance ^^ If you poke around the department stores at the mall you may find something similar... If I see anything online I'll send ya a link :)

Oh thanks! I've been thinking about doing a few, more classical outfits since I primarily dress sweet. Plus- lace is pretty! I'll keep my eye out then!

There were totally Spartans at Ren Faire this year...just randomly walking around in short shorts. At one point, they were walking past Hearts Delight [the clothiers I worked for] and one of the girls who worked there hopped up, ran out, and smacked one of them solid on the ass before she ran back inside. He missed who it was, and showed up a bit later to say, "Hey, someone in here smacked me on the ass..." and then she did it again, and he was all, "...twice. Hel-lo."

Aww I only got to see one spartan and they didn't even look remotely hot D:. Your outfit looks fantastic and those shoes are absolutely amazing.
