Well, hopefully just posting some pictures of my knitting doesn't cause you to think I've become a crazy cat lady or have lost interest in everything else. I just want to show off my newest ability to successfully make things out of some string and sticks!

normal and I drove down to Amelia Island to play at the beach, with ninsun, ozgolith, Michelle, and later joined by scottopic and skiadaimonos~ We had a great time, and pretty much ate at the same place the whole time, a shack-built-off-a-bar bar-b-que place down the road, where I consumed far too many 'corn nuggets'.... Now that I'm thinking about it I should look up a recipe XDWe did a lot of playing at the beach but there is never nearly enough of that! I can't wait to go again~ The place we stayed at was a tiny bit weird, but cheap and just a block away from the beach- a locals only beach, hurrah! On Saturday we could look down towards to public beach, and just see the huge crowd of people there, scary~~ I forget how tiring the beach is, but it was really a lot of fun.
Glad to be home now, but still missing the beach ;) Hopefully we can go again~
Today hasn't been too exciting, laundry, baking, X-Files... Saturday we'll be going to my parent's house in Lawrenceville to help them with a yard sale, woooooo ~__~
Everyone on Facebook for the past week weeks has been going on and on about... Dragon*Con! We did buy tickets, so I should start thinking of what to do and wear. I will very likely be toting my Pint Size Slasher mask around again, but otherwise I don't really have any ideas ^^; I may dig through my costume ideas folder for a quick (and cheap) costume inspiration. Maybe I'll make a creepy-cute bunny mask~
Crazy past few months, but I've been taking more pics as I promised myself, just... with my cellphone XD We got Android phones late last year, so I've been entertaining myself with the various camera and photo editing apps available. So instead of a deep meaningful post, have a visual look of my life~

I guess I kinda forgot to post this big news (unless you follow me on FaceBook, then this is old news...)- we finally bought a house! Hallelujah! It only took us a year of searching, haha! Lots of stumbles and chaos along the way but we found the perfect place for us :)

I'm really happy we finally moved out of our old hell-hole apartment! This house has a ton of space and I can't wait to get the deck fixed up so we can have a big housewarming party~ Can't wait to get the sewing/craft room set up so I can start making things <3 Aaaaaaahhhhh it's so nice to be home!

Last night we went to ninsun and ozgolith's place to help M decorate for Christmas~ I snapped a cute pic of the baby-demon-kaiju-kitty scoping out the potential evil to be had upon the pink Hello Kitty tree
The Hello Kitty tree is so sweet~ If we had room I might do the same.
I looked at a house for us to rent yesterday, but we decided not to go with it, since there wasn't any available street parking, and the road it's off does get a bit of traffic. So we extended our lease here for another 6 months, and in the meantime we'll continue to hunt for a house to buy.

Ahhh, had a great weekend away from the city~ I was sick Friday night, so that was no fun, but the rest of the time spent was wonderful! Nearby the cabin we stayed at, was a lake and a field and some very picturesque scenery, so I come bearing pictures!

Good times spent with great people <3 I can't wait for the next cabin trip~ I feel, oddly enough, recharged from this weekend of over-indulgence and sin. I am in a much better mind-set now then I have been the last few weeks, I feel more motivated to do and create things.
Hmmmm. What else. It is June! That means, this month Josh will go to the bank and see how much of a loan he can get, to buy a house! o____o Hooray!!! I am *so* looking forward to this~ God, just thinking of the idea that we could have a house with enough room makes me giddy. A ROOM FOR CRAFTING AND KITCHEN LARGE ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE TO WORK IN AND A BACKYARD FOR A PUPPY (and a garden!) AND A BASEMENT FOR 'THINGS' AND AND AND, AHHHHHHHHH~~~~ I feel like I will get a nosebleed if I think about it too much.
Ran out of steam for this post. Later~

For New Years, one of my resolutions was to take more pictures... Josh bought me my own camera for 'Happy Income Tax Return Time', so I've been taking more pics, hooray!

Josh was playing Fallout earlier, and the graphics were waaaaay fucked up. After a reboot nothing would come up, so he pulled the console apart to clean it out. Still got nothing, so he took it apart some more... The cd rom is over heating the graphics processor, though we never got the Red Ring of Death... Anyway, after some finagling, he managed to get it working again...

So yesterday I wrote about the skirt I wanted to make- "I don't really have high hopes"
Apparently these were magic words, because my skirt turned out wonderfully without any hassle! I had a much more difficult time making the red linen skirt. This one didn't turn out 100%, only because I didn't/couldn't top stitch the edges of the vinyl ruffles... I took a stab at that, failed, and decided it wasn't worth the trouble. I also think I should have ruffled the tulle separately from the vinyl so it'd be more poofy. This is a skirt for clubbing though, not for tea, so I think it is ok if it's not totally perfect~
I realize it may not look too impressive, but guys, I fucking ruffled vinyl on the serger!!! I really did not think that would work... Now I just have to make a top and some bows to go with it~

I ordered some stocking from stockingirl.com last week... I got these (pink leopard) and these in Antique Pink~ They came in today, but sadly the seamed stockings look too long for me T___T

Today was a Picnic Day- beautiful weather and all, so normal and I went out to Kennesaw Mountain for a picnic ^__^ We had a lot of fun~ Stopped at Whole Foods for, ah, foods, picnicked, and went to Joann's afterwards~ Came home and clean up, had dinner, and here we are!

Finally updating about the weekend XD Friday was Phobia, we took bejipan with us, and I brought cupcakes!
I made Chocolate with Strawberry Frosting, and White Russian cupcakes. It may not look pretty but people seemed to enjoy them ^__^ I had a fun time, didn't take many pics though :/
Saturday we slept late then went out to L5P and met up with Chris, Torch, and Dave at the Vortex <3 I love the Yokohama Momma burger they have *___* Drank more, ended back at home with the Charlotte boys... Decided that sleeping was a much better option while Josh and Torch went out to Crimson Web...
Sunday, woke up, did some dishes, went shopping for some cake things, then off to the Highlander to properly celebrateorwellsanimal's birthday! With more drinking!

Finally got Windows 7 working right on my netbook after fighting with it all day yesterday. I haven't played around with it too much, but so far so good. I'll probably have a mini-review later~
